On this page you will find three case studies for three very different projects which differ in aim, budget and technology. The first is for a music photography website which comprises of a content managed gallery / blog system along with a photo ordering system, which allows band members to select their favourite images to be used in the final gallery or a printed album. The second case study is for a farmhouse ice cream company who were keen on growing their brand using a range of social technologies, graphic design and analytics, this site was a larger and more involved project than the first and has proved hugely successful with ice cream fans across the country. The third case study on this page focuses on a local lighting and stage production company who wanted to show off their talents with a range of colourful graphics, perfectly optimised content for Google and promotional video.
Ok so this page requires more scrolling than the others, but we hope you find our examples interesting and hopefully you will gain further insight in to the breadth of our work.![]()

Magic Photography was a challenging website to create, the brief was for a full content managed architecture so that the author could create new articles and galleries for recent music concerts. The client also requested thumbnails of the most recent photos to be displayed on the home page linking to the respective gallery.
We decided to use blog technology to manage the content management system and provide a simple and familiar user experience for the client. We also provided a search facility for users to find specific band names or venues along with the clients twitter feed embedded on the home page.
Tina - from magic photography provided us with a basic logo which we 'spruced' up to generate the look and feel of a rock music theme, we then carried the new graphics into the dynamic menu bars and image surrounds.
The best part about this site is its simplicity to use both for the client uploading new photos and text, and for the users visiting the site. Adjacent to the home page thumbnails is a list depicting the most recent music events that are documented on the site. This is all dynamically generated from the content that is uploaded by Tina.
The second part of this website is a photo ordering system for the bands to log in using a secure system and select which photos they would like to use in the final galleries or commission for a printed gallery
Again the client is able to manage the username/password system very easily, and when the photos have been selected Tina receives an email with the list of chosen images.
"It was a pleasure to work with Jellyphish. They were quick, efficient and to the point. Not to mention delivering a brilliant result! I would definitely recommend everyone in need of a website to give Jellyphish a call, you won't be disappointed! "
- Tina, Magic Photography
This means that the clients are able to update and maintain the dynamic aspects such as: latest news, up-coming events, event photos, bloggs with images and videos, twitter feeds, and their latest pubs, restaurants, shops and general vendors supplying their product.
The idea for this website was to gain an edge over local and national rivals along with increasing the social media marketing front. As well as a huge local following, Churchfields are now in supermarkets too.

"We have had nothing but an excellent service from JellyPhish. They took into account what we wanted and created us an excellent web-site. We have seen a marked increase in enquiries from the web-site since it went live. "
- Gillian, Churchfields Farmhouse Ice Cream
Whilst the previous two examples were all about interaction and technology, this fine specimen just goes to show that 'information only' websites can still create a fantastic web presence, perform very well on the search engines and sell, sell, sell.
Brighter productions approached us to build a very eye catching experience with only limited user interaction. Ok so there is a bit of Google, Twitter and Flash magic thrown in for good measure but the simplicity of the pages, combined with the easy navigation makes this one a 'bright spark' which really stands out above the crowd
And the best thing is look how well the website does in Google, type in 'bournemouth stage production' and BP gets the first 3 hits. whoop!
"Jellyphish have given our business a huge boost with the new website. Our enquiries have considerably increased along with our equipment hire and events calender. Thanks guys"
-Sean, Brighter Productions
